ITALIAN CENTER

ABOUT

The Italian Center provides professional catering, dining experiences and entertainment to the areas surrounding the Hudson Valley.  We offer Italian and American cuisine, can accommodate events of any size and will gladly customize menus and preferences.

The Italian Center is an integral part of the community. It hosts many events both public and private. The home of the Italian Center is a classic turn of the century building that is a well-known landmark throughout the city and surrounding areas.

The Italian Center was founded in 1928 with the combining of several Italian American Organizations in the Dutchess County area.  The Italian Center is an independent fraternal organization located in Poughkeepsie, a city which is located on the eastern bank of the Hudson River midway between Albany and New York City.

The purpose of the Italian Center has always been to promote, preserve and celebrate the Italian Culture, Heritage and Traditions of its members through the association of people of Italian Ancestry.

The Italian Center currently has six hundred members in the fraternal organization and ladies auxiliary.  We are always welcoming new members, so please visit the Membership section if you are interested in joining the family.
